100 miler fundraisers prepare to set off
Hemel Hempstead's 100 Milers group climbed Snowdonia as part of some final training.
This fundraising gang set off on a four-day 100 mile running challenge on Wednesday.
But before starting the massive feat in aid of the British Legion the men did some last minute training by climbing Snowdonia.
The group from Hemel Hempstead, including many serving and former members of the armed forces, set off from the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire and will be welcomed across the finish at Hemel Hempstead’s bandstand in Marlowes on Saturday at 2pm by mayor Bert Chapman and MP Mike Penning. British Legion members, cubs and scouts will be there and members of the public are invited to turn out.
