Air ambulance called to aid of woman in Berkhamsted Station fall

AN air ambulance was called in when a woman fell down stairs at Berkhamsted Railway Station.

Paramedics were called just after 3pm today (Wednesday) to reports of a woman aged in her 60s who had fallen down stairs off platform three.

An ambulance and fast response car were also sent to the scene.

The woman was taken to Watford General Hospital by ambulance. The air ambulance was not needed.
