Berkhamsted’s police community support officer was called to 17 incidents in the last month, according to a report to councillors.

Among them were parking issues, a neighbourhood dispute, road collisions, a drunk person and a missing person. PCSO James McLean writes: “During the last two months, there has been very little anti-social behaviour.”

It was reported to town police in just one area – Butts Meadow, where a small amount of alcohol was confiscated from youngsters.
