Amazon ‘ASBO’ protest by union bypasses town depot

A series of protests aimed at internet retail giant Amazon did not include Hemel Hempstead’s Boundary Way depot as thought.

The trade union GMB staged nine demonstrations nationally, each presenting Amazon with a fake ASBO for its corporation tax avoidance and low pay rates.

Around 15 people protested at the Milton Keynes site.

Mick Vivian of GMB said: “We could not cover everywhere in the region so Hemel was left behind. But I expect we will be doing more in future.”
