Are you Phil’s good Samaritan?

Phil Saunders and his lost wallet.

Phil Saunders and his lost wallet.

A dad wants to buy a drink for the good Samaritan who returned his lost wallet.

Phil Saunders, of Kings Langley, feared pictures of loved ones, his driving licence and bank cards were gone forever after losing his wallet in the Warners End area of Hemel Hempstead.

But just a week later the 42-year-old received a parcel in the post. Inside with his wallet was an anonymous note that said: ‘I hope you get the chance to do something nice for a stranger’.

Phil said: “I would like to know who found it so I can pay them back their postage and buy them a drink. I would like to shake his or her hand because I don’t think there are many people left in the world that are that honest.”
