Army mum’s walk will come through Hemel

editorial image

AN army mother is organising a sponsored walk to raise money for the Royal Anglian Regiment Benevolent Charity.

The walk, named All the 4s – 4 the boys, 4 the families, 4 the fallen 4 ever – will pass through Hemel Hempstead on Friday, August 17. It starts in Luton on Thursday, August 16, and ends in Brentwood on Saturday, August 25.

Christine Bonner’s son, Corporal Darren Bonner, was killed by a land mine explosion in Afghanistan in 2007.

The mum is a strong supporter of the RARBC, which provides support to serving or former soldiers and their families.
