Big Brother baton display for troupe
A MAJORETTE troupe has hit the silver screen, appearing on the television reality show Big Brother.
The Dacorum Majorettes were asked by Big Brother producers to perform a routine to be used on the show that housemates had to recreate for a task.
Girls from the troupe went to the Big Brother studios in Elstree for the routine and judged the housemates, deciding whether they passed or failed.
Leader of the troupe, Leanne Foy, 24, of Youngfield Road, Hemel Hempstead, said: "It was really exciting, we could see inside the house. We're not nervous though, we've practiced lots."
Producers on the show are reusing their favourite tasks from the last 10 years and the troupe performed a routine they did on Big Brother in 2006.
The group also performed on Big Brother's Little brother yesterday at 6pm.
