Two cyclists are getting set to ride between as many historic churches in two counties as they possibly can.

Andy Fisher and Mark Wilson, pictured above, will be taking part in a fundraising event by the Beds and Herts Historic Churches Trust, which pays for the upkeep of ancient churches in the two areas.

Andy, 51, of Halwick Close, Hemel Hempstead, said: “It raises awareness of the buildings, and the beauty that they bring to the community.”

Anyone can take part in the event on Saturday by raising sponsorship cash by hiking or cycling between ancient churches in Beds and Herts between 10am and 6pm. To learn more, call Andy on 01442 266311.
