Body found in canal
The dead body of a woman was discovered in the canal at Hemel Hempstead this morning (Thursday).
Police were called just after 6.30am to Fishery Road in the town.
A woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Herts Police spokesman Hannah Williams said: "The area has been cordoned off and enquiries are ongoing however, at this time police believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
