Brave reporter loses his cancer battle

The Gazette is saddened to announce that Tring reporter Jonathan Saunders has passed away.

After a brave fight against cancer the 24 year old died surrounded by his family at the Hospice of St Francis on Tuesday evening.

Jonny, a passionate Wycombe Wanderers Football Club supporter, married long-term girlfriend Adella last month after earlier proposing to her during a trip to Disneyland Paris.

He will be very much missed by all at the Gazette and our thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
