Burglary warning after spate

Police are urging people to double-lock doors following a spate of burglaries.

The warning comes after five homes in Tring were targeted over two nights.

Thieves failed to break in at two houses on Charles Street but later broke in and stole car keys at Elizabeth Drive on August 22.

Burglars struck twice more in Tring on August 23 and a grey Ford Focus car was stolen from Nursery Gardens on August 24.

Witnesses can call police on non-emergency number 0845 33 00 222.
