editorial image

A man was cut out of a car that had flipped onto its side at the Jarman Park roundabout in Hemel Hempstead in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Two fire engines rushed to the accident, near Leisure World, from the town’s Queensway fire station at 1.30am. They had freed the person within 20 minutes.

East of England Ambulance Service spokesman Richard Dunne said the man – believed to be in his 30s – had minor injuries.

He was treated there and then and did not have to go to hospital.
