Car thieves hit Tring again

A TOWN has been hit by another wave of vehicle crime.

Six car break-ins were reported across Tring as thieves struck on Sunday night into Monday morning.

A locked blue Audi A2 hatchback in Park Road was hit and a torch, rucksack, laptop and more than £100 cash were stolen.

A silver Kia Creed on Nathaniel Walk was also ransacked and had 50 CDs and cash taken from it.

Cars parked in Dundale Road, Drummond Ride, Bunstrux and Frogmore Street were all left unlocked but had nothing stolen.

The spate is similar to an incident last month, when thieves targeted eight cars in one night in Tring.
