Club wants new blood

editorial image

Sportsmen and women are wanted to help out with the running of a club for disabled people.

The Dacorum Sports Club for the Disabled, better known as The Puffins, is appealing for new blood.

It was founded in 1981 – the International Year of the Disabled – and has provided recreational sports activities for adults on a weekly basis for the last 31 years.

Volunteers are needed to help at sports sessions and/or join the committee to help with the running of the club, which meets most Saturday mornings from 11am to 1pm at Hemel Hempstead’s Sportspace.

If you can help contact membership secretary Liz Fairbrother on 01442 256487 or email lizfairbrother@ntlworld.com
