Crime-busting show to make community safer

A crime-busting charity will be showcasing the services it provides at a special event at the Watford Colosseum.

West Herts Against Crime (WHAC) is hosting the Home Tasks Show on September 13 where visitors will be able to learn about the charity’s handyperson scheme and services covering security, gardening and computing.

Along with paid-for products and services WHAC offers a free security and safety service for the elderly, disabled and victims of crime.

A spokesman said: “The event will showcase the wide range of affordable home security services WHAC provides to residents across Hertfordshire.

“The charity will also be unveiling its new brand identity, together with some exciting new services that will help build a safer community for all.”
