A PHOTOGRAPHIC exhibition to celebration the Diamond Jubilee has been opened by Dacorum’s Mayor Gillian Chapman.

Snaps, commissioned by Mrs Chapman and put together by the Dacorum Heritage Trust, are on display in Hemel Hempstead’s Civic Centre.

They show the town through the decades of the Queen’s 60-year reign.

Mrs Chapman, who declared the display open on Thursday, said: “It is wonderful for people to be able to see their glorious borough through the ages and learn more about the links Dacorum has to the Queen.”

The exhibition can be viewed during the Civic Centre’s opening hours – Monday to Thursday from 8.45am to 5.15pm and Friday from 8.45am to 4.45pm.
