Flamstead strip club wall not for privacy
The man working on behalf of a strip club says its new fence was not built to protect customers’ privacy.
The Wagon and Horses in Flamstead applied in late August for retrospective planning permission to install an out-door smoking area, screen-wall and taller car-park fence.
But architect Stephen Everitt denied that the work was done to stop punters from being seen by drivers on the busy A5, where it is based.
He said the work would make the club safer, and that its owners had not known they needed planning permission during the work in July.
He said: “It does look very neat and tidy, so enhances the appearance of the road premises.”
