And youngsters like nine-year-olds Tamar Duncan and Sophie Hutton, pictured, are getting involved by making floral kneelers and animals for the event.
The festival will see the historic St Mary Magdalene Church filled with floral creations from Saturday, August 25 to Monday, August 27 between 10.30am and 5pm.
There will be a craft fayre in the village hall in Birch Lane and new this year is an art exhibition in the church room.
On the Saturday there will be classical music from string quartet The Chess Players in the church from 6pm to 7pm and Songs of Praise on Sunday at 6pm.
Funds raised will go towards the general upkeep of the church, built in 1838 and designed by the architect behind St Pancras Station and The Albert Memorial, Sir George Gilbert Scott.
