Forklift truck stolen

A forklift truck was snatched from a building site.

The red Manitou vehicle was taken from Hunton Bridge Hill in Kings Langley between 4.30pm on Thursday (March 11) and 7am the following day.

PC Steve Logan from Herts Police said: "I'd ask anyone in the area at the time to think whether they may have seen anything suspicious. If you have any information, no matter how small, please call us as it could be the detail we are looking for.

"I'd also urge businesses to be on the lookout for anyone offering a vehicle matching this description for sale - remember handling stolen goods is illegal."

The keys to the forklift truck were not taken during the break-in.

Anyone with information is asked to call police via the non-emergency number on 0845 33 00 222, alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
