Three muscular dystrophy sufferers had all-expenses paid trips to the Paralympics.

Brothers Lewis, 11, and Callum, 14, saw the athletics and goalball – a sport like football for blind competitors – on Friday, August 31.

Dad Andy Hicks, 49, of Boxted Road, Warners End, said: “You could feel good vibrations coming out of the Stadium. The place was buzzing.”

Jack Morrell, 18, saw the athletics, wheelchair rugby, goalball and wheelchair tennis on Wednesday last week.

Jack plays power-wheelchair football for Great Britain – which narrowly avoided selection for the Paralympics.

The trips were provided by the Muscle Help Foundation with the help of firm Etac UK.
