The success of a charity’s Friendship Teas, which sees older people socialise over a cuppa, has been such a hit that another get together is being launched.

The monthly meetings are already held in Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring by Age UK Dacorum and, on Wednesday, January 23, another one will be launched at Kings Langley.

The get together runs for an hour and a half and transport to get people to and from the venue can be provided.

This new group is being run in partnership with Dacorum Borough Council’s Youth Action Entertainers and the charity is also seeking sponsors.
