Help catch suspected fuel thief

Detectives need information to help them find a motorist they believe knows about incidents where fuel has not been paid for at petrol stations in Dacorum.

A man driving a black Audi, registration number L855 KNM, filled his car with fuel at Sainsbury’s in Hemel Hempstead on Saturday, September 22, and then entered the kiosk where he looked at magazines before leaving without paying.

Detectives think he might have information about similar offences including another one at the same London Road location on Friday May 18th shortly after 3pm when a man made off with more than £70 worth of diesel.

Det Con Sharon Hill, who is investigating the incident, said: “We are very keen to speak with him as we believe he may have vital information which could assist our investigation.”
