Help keep winter blood levels up

editorial image

With the likelihood that most people will want to stay indoors as the weather gets colder the NHS is asking as many people as possible to give blood to help keep stock levels high.

NHS Blood and Transplant is always coping with an ever constant demand for blood stocks and is urging people to brave the colder weather this autumn for just a short period of time as every blood donation can save a life.

Sessions coming up around Dacorum include one at Sportspace, Hemel Hempstead, on Monday, October 8; St Barnabas Church in Adeyfield on Tuesday, October 16 and at Berkhamsted Civic Centre on Wednesday, October 24.

To find out more or book a slot at one of the sessions, visit www.blood.co.uk or call the Donor Line on 0300 1232323
