AN 81-YEAR-OLD has entered some of the pots she has created for her Hemel Hempstead home into art exhibitions.

Pensioner Jean Langdon, of Spring Lane, first got into pottery after making some casserole dishes for her catering company.

She said: “After retiring, it’s become kind of compulsive. I do not feel happy unless I have got a couple of pots on the go.”

Her work can now be seen at The Upstairs Gallery in Berkhamsted in its Less Is More display.
