More Fairtrade tea vicar?

Pupils had a tea-rrific afternoon brewing cuppas to raise cash for Fairtrade Fortnight on Thursday.

Students from Thomas Coram Middle School, in Berkhamsted, raised 85 selling ethically sourced tea and coffee as part of the Big Brew at the Court House, next to St Peter's Church.

Youngsters even took to the streets to try and drum up some business.

Big Brews are happening all over the county as part of Fairtrade Fortnight which aims to raise awareness of the difference we can make to the lives of tea producers by buying Traidcraft Fairtrade tea,

Rob Halls, deputy headteacher at the school, said: "Our pupils are always keen to help those less fortunate than ourselves. This was a superb opportunity for us to work with the local community to raise awareness of Fairtrade issues."
