National charity to help addicts

A NATIONAL charity that works to create healthier, safer communities, has been awarded a contract by Herts County Council to provide drug and alcohol recovery services in the area.

Based in towns across the county, including Hemel Hempstead, CRI will provide a full range of support options to help adults with misuse problems, ranging from advice and information to structured treatment programmes.

The contract starts on April 1.
