Over the moon with two-star award.
A company has been recognised for the way it treats its staff.
Grass Roots, based on Tring's Station Road, has been awarded a two-star status for a third successive year in the 2010 Best Companies to Work For survey.
The highest accreditation category is three-star, in which 90 per cent of staff think their manager cares about job satisfaction.
Founder and chairman of the business services company David Evans MBE was pleased with the award.
He said: "The recession has made life difficult for all of us, but we have stuck to our fundamental belief that it's people who make the difference.
"The skills we offer to our clients – communication, education, measurement and reward – are the skills that we practice with our employees.
"If you can execute these disciplines well and build them into your culture, you will encourage individuals and teams to go the extra mile. In a downturn this can make the difference between success and failure.
"Being recognised as an 'outstanding' company for three years in succession suggests a consistency of approach and that's something I think is very important."
