A second-hand children’s wear sale raised £9,000 for Oxfam.

The ever-popular sale, which was held at Berkhamsted Civic Centre on Friday, is organised by charity stalwart Nicky Evans.

She said: “We are so grateful to all our supporters, volunteers and donors.

“The beautiful warm day probably meant people were not thinking about winter clothes but there will be a fabulous selection on offer in the shop during the coming months.”

Alison Jackson, Oxfam’s Area Manager who helped at the event, congratulated the Berkhamsted team on its success and hard work.
