Park’s screen is ready for opening of the Olympic Games

A BIG screen to showcase the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games has gone up in Gadebridge Park, Hemel Hempstead.

Visitors to the green space can watch the big event this evening (Friday) which kicks off at 9pm.

The television screen has been erected by Across Hemel - a group of Hemel Hempstead churches that have been putting on events all week to celebrate the Games.

A Family Fun Day is being held in the park on Saturday from 2pm to 6pm, followed by Picnic and Praise on Sunday from midday.
