School open for an extra day a week

A school has announced some changes to its care and teaching of children in the area.

Tring Stepping Stones School is now opening on Mondays in order to offer more flexibility and extra sessions.

Pre-school leader Julia Orme said: "This will enable us to offer more flexibility, extra sessions and hopefully start children on our waiting list earlier than planned.

"Children are currently eligible to 15 hours funded sessions each week. With our extended opening we hope to offer our parents and children more flexibility and more sessions each week."
