Sex trafficking talk

A charity worker who helps South Asian women who have been trafficked in the sex trade held a talk in a school.

Rev David Russell, minister of Northchurch Baptist Church, spoke to sixth-formers at Tring School, Mortimer Hill, Tring, about his international missions for charity Interserve.

The organisation visited the school for the second year running as part of its Love Changes Everything campaign.

During the presentation, students were asked what makes them angry and shown a DVD of a woman in being rescued in Mumbai's red light district.

Assistant head Andrew Dobberson said: "Interserve's visit was timely given that these students are about to set foot into the outside world, and I hope and trust that what they heard about this terrible trade will remain with them and hopefully prompt some of them to respond in some way."
