Shoppers can spend their HMV vouchers from tomorrow

Shoppers with HMV vouchers will be able to use them in stores from tomorrow (Tuesday), administrators have confirmed.

It has also been announced that proceeds raised at HMV stores through the sale of charity releases - including the Hillsborough Justice Collective single - will be paid in full as soon as possible.

The long-term options for the firm are still be looked into while the business - which is currently running a 25 per cent blue cross sale at its stores - continues to trade.

Last week administrators were appointed for the struggling retailer, which has 223 stores across the UK, including Hemel Hempstead’s Riverside Shopping Centre.
