Ski dad returns to UK

A dad who almost died in a ski accident whilst on holiday has returned to the UK.

Adam Bailey has been flown back to the country from France after what has been described as a 'miraculous' recovery from the ski accident.

The 40 year old had to be plunged into a coma by doctors in the hopes that his battered body would recover from the horrific crash.

He had blood on the brain, needed a heart operation to repair his torn aorta and had broken his back in two places.

However, since waking up, five weeks after the accident, Mr Bailey has amazed doctors.

On a Facebook page set up for the Apsley resident, his wife Vicki says the father of two is currently at Watford General Hospital.
