STUDENTS who studied in Tring are starring in children’s television programmes.

Former pupil of Tring Park School for the Performing Arts Lily James, 21, is playing Ethel Brown, Just William’s older sister on CBBC.

Meanwhile, 16-year-old Jessica Revell is starring as Elektra in another CBBC show Tracy Beaker Returns.

Lily said: “Being at Tring has given me such confidence and led to some great roles.

“It is intensive and very hard work. We often performed and rehearsed throughout the morning, had academic studies all afternoon and then continued performing into the evening.

“The energy at Tring Park was incredible.”

She is currently rehearsing for Vernon God Little at the Young Vic theatre and will also appear in the Secret Diary of a Call Girl later this year.

Jessica started at the school after her family moved to England from France and is now in her fourth year. She has already performed in Dracula: The Final Countdown on CBBC.
