Top produce on display

Fans of local produce will have their pick of seasonal foods and flowers at two horticultural shows.

Sarratt and Bovingdon's horticultural societies will each host their autumn exhibitions this Saturday, September 11.

Visitors to these events can expect to find a large range of classes including dahlias, roses, hydrangeas and fuchsias, together with vegetables and fruit.

In addition, entrants in preserves and cookery, flower arranging, arts and crafts, photography, and drinks will all face the judging panel.

Both events open to the public at 2.30pm following the judging in the morning and will be held at the Village Hall on The Green in Sarratt, and at Memorial Hall in Bovingdon High Street.
