The people of Hemel Hempstead paid their respects to the fallen on Remembrance Sunday.

RAF Halton servicemen and women, Royal British Legion veterans and local dignitaries marched from Hemel Hempstead’s town centre to the war memorial at St John’s Church, Boxmoor. Wreaths were laid at the memorial and a service was held inside the church.

Among those honoured was Hemel Hempstead’s Ryan Tomlin, 21, who was killed while on patrol in Afghanistan earlier this year.
