Tring trending on Twitter after Apprentice mention.

TRING was trending on Twitter last night after the town got a mention on the BBC’s Apprentice.

Contestants on Lord Alan Sugar’s programme this week were challenged with finding high-end offers for a daily discount deals website.

Team Phoenix had planned to visit top spa Champneys in Tring, but changed their minds at the last minute which Lord Sugar said was a key reason for them losing the task.

Tweets about Tring ranged from people wondering where it was, Tring people excited about the area being mentioned and some slating the town while other jumped to its defence.

‘Trending’ on Twitter refers to a topic that is being talked about most on the social networking site.
