A FAMILY has paid tribute to a ‘gifted’ teenager who died after his car crashed into an electricity pylon.

Ben Wesley, 17, crashed just before 8am last Tuesday at the junction of the A251 and Newground Road near Tring.

The former Tring School pupil was taken from the black Renault Clio by one fire crew from Berkhamsted and two from Hemel Hempstead and was airlifted to the Royal Free Hospital in Whitechapel, London, with serious head injuries, but later died.

His mum Tracey said: “Ben was so thoughtful.

“He is missed by so many people. We have seen many beautiful flowers and cards.

“We had no idea he touched the lives of so many. He was such a kind and thoughtful boy.”
