Wheelchair dancer makes final of TV show
A determined wheelchair user has made it to the final of a TV dance show.
James O'Shea, aged 31, from Berkhamsted, could be named the winner of Dancing on Wheels when its last remaining contestants go head to head tonight (Thursday).
The show's champions will go on to represent the UK at the most prestigious wheelchair dance sport competition in the world, the
European Championships in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Dancing on Wheels, a new BBC3 series, pairs celebrities with wheelchair users to master the art of wheelchair dance.
Mr O'Shea, who lost his legs in a train accident as a teenager, is dancing with TV presenter and model Caroline Flack.
The pair are up against wheelchair user Diana Morgan-Hill, who also lost her legs in a train accident, and champion swimmer Mark Foster.
Each couple, led by Strictly Come Dancing's Brian Fortuna, will dance a Latin and a ballroom routine with the hope of wowing the judging panel.
The final of Dancing on Wheels will be shown on BBC3 at 9pm on Thursday, March 11.
