Will public land go up for sale?

Little Gaddesden Parish Council has been approached by someone who wants to buy land it owns behind the village’s Peel House in Church Road.

Councillors chose to have the small, landlocked area valued in a recent meeting – but members of the public cried out:‘Don’t sell it’ and: ‘Look after your land.’

Councillor Omer Kutluoglu said: “If we could get some money in from the useless piece of land, it would be worthwhile.”
