Woman has broken leg after ‘road rage’ assault in Leamington

A WOMAN and a man have been arrested on suspicion of a serious assault following an alleged ‘road rage’ incident in Leamington on Sunday.

Officers arrested the 28-year-old woman from Leamington and 46-year-old man from Warwick following the incident, after which a woman was taken to hospital for treatment to a broken leg. They have since been released on bail.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which occurred at the roundabout of Myton Road and Princes Drive at around 2.30pm.

It is believed the occupants of two cars stopped near the roundabout before the assault took place.
