Woman taken to hospital on spinal board

A woman was taken to hospital on a spinal board after a road smash on Saturday.

Paramedics from Hemel Hempstead and Watford were called to Cattsdell, Highfield, just after 11.30am.

East of England Ambulance Service spokesman Gary Sanderson said: “A woman who we believe to be in her 50s received injuries to her neck and back.”

She was taken to Watford General Hospital.
