Zoo’s hot bears take a nice dip to cool off
Hot bear at Whipsnade Zoo.
WHILE the sunshine that we have all been hoping for has arrived some are taking the plunge to stay cool as the mercury rises.
After weeks of downpours, Whipsnade’s Eurasian brown bear sisters are still getting wet by taking the plunge in their pool in a bid to cool off.
Twin sisters Wellington and Winslow are inseparable and love to play together, especially in the water.
In the wild, brown bears are found in South and Eastern Europe and parts of Asia.
They feed on berries, nuts, roots, grasses, insects, fish and rodents.
