Theatre luvvies who are stripping off for a charity calendar did not want to forget their much-loved friend who passed away earlier this year.

The group from Tring Court Theatre who are baring all have decided to include a shot of naked troll dolls with the cheeky set of calendar pictures.

It is a tribute to fellow actress Maxine Reece, who passed away, aged just 30, in May after a sudden illness.

Maxine was a lover of the toys and had collected more than 300 of them.

They were distributed among her friends during her wake and now people take the trolls wherever they go and post pictures of them on a Facebook page, which they have dedicated to her and called it Trolls on Tour.

There are scores of pictures of trolls at the Olympics, on holiday in Spain, shopping at Biscester village and having fun at Thorpe Park.

Taking it a step further, Maxine’s pals will include a picture of naked trolls in the ‘Calendar Girls’ style charity calendar to raise money for the theatre, which recently gained charitable status.

Fundraising director Donna Wright said: “The trolls are a comfort to her family and also shows that we are all thinking of her wherever we go.”

Scores of movers and shakers in Tring have bared all for the Tring Uncovered calendar but the pictures are being kept firmly under wraps until the big reveal at The Made In Tring Party on Wednesday, September 19.
