Tring theatre colleagues will remember Maxine with a sweet tribute

THE amateur cast of Sweet Charity will be paying tribute to their much loved friend who passed away before she could appear in the show.

Friends and family of budding actress Maxine Reece will be wearing her favourite colour to the Friday night performance of Sweet Charity, which opens on Tuesday next week.

There will also be a raffle running during the week of the show to raise money for the Evelina Children’s Heart Organisation, which cared for Maxine when she was a child.

The 30-year-old from Tring passed away following a sudden illness in April.

Show director Jamie Scott said: “Maxine was a valued and well loved member of the theatre fraternity and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.”
