Police are on the hunt for three men who stole money from a post office using distraction techniques.
The crooks, all aged in their mid-30s and of Asian appearance, asked for some money to be changed into Euros during the heist in the store in Hempstead Road, Kings Langley, on Thursday at 11.10am.
The group then asked for the denomination of the cash to be changed, before making off with all of the cash. Police records did not list the value of money taken.
One of the men is described as around 5ft 2ins with short black hair, of heavy build and wearing a red T-shirt with blue jeans. Another is also of heavy build and wearing a red T-shirt, while the third is about 6ft tall, with short black hair, of slim build and wearing a green T-shirt and jeans.
The trio escaped in a car.
Herts Police spokesman Dan Phillips said: “We are investigating this incident and are appealing for witnesses who saw it take place, or saw the men getting into the car outside the post office. Call us on 101 with any information.”
