TELEVISION antiques expert John Bly will view people’s treasures in the first of the events of the Tring Carnival.
The event called John Bly Consults, at 7.30pm in Pound Meadow on Friday, June 29, is an opportunity for people to find out more about their family heirlooms.
There will be food by The Akeman mediterranean restaurant and drinks by Tring Brewery.
The event will be followed by a host of activities set up in the meadow for Tring Carnival, which will entertain the masses throughout the weekend.
The parade will start on Saturday at Bishops Wood School, in Frogmore Street, and end at Pound Meadow where there will be stalls, tug of war, ferret racing, steam engines, games and beer tent.
Old Country Union and Iain English’s Notation will play to audiences in the evening and there will be jazz on Sunday.
