Two men have been charged in connection with a shoplifting incident in which nearly £600 worth of clothes were stolen.
Police were called to TK Maxx in the Riverside Shopping Centre in Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead on Monday (July 20).
The theft happened between 11.40am and 12pm, when items of clothing worth £598.86 were stolen.
A 20-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with shoplifting, going equipped and possession of a controlled drug – namely cannabis.
He appeared at Hatfield Magistrates Court on Tuesday (July 21) and was bailed to appear at St Albans Magistrates Court on August 11.
A 28-year-old man from Middlesbrough has also been charged with theft and going equipped.
He was bailed to appear at Central West Herts Magistrates on August 28.
