SOME well-known faces will invade a village in the form of scarecrows.
Flamstead residents are being invited to once again come up with home-made creations for the village’s annual scarecrow festival.
It raises cash for the Herts MS Therapy Centre and the Friends of St Leonard’s.
Since being launched in 2002, the crowd pleaser has raised more than £56,000, which has been divided between the two good causes.
Creations have included Posh and Becks, David Cameron and Nick Clegg’s crow-alition and Barack Crow-bama.
It is hoped that the tenth event – running from Friday, August 19 to Sunday, August 21, will be even bigger and better.
