Villagers ready for panto fever

VILLAGERS will be egging each other on for a pun-tastic pantomime production in its 24th year.

Humpty Dumpty will be showing at Long Marston Victory Hall until Saturday with all the traditional thrills and spills,

Cast member Toby Davidson said: “It is going to be very, very good this year with some really corny jokes.

“We are all locals and around half of us live in Long Marston itself, but we are all from the local villages and local area.”

But Toby said the production could not go ahead without Neil Gurney, who writes, directs and choreographs.

Shows will be tomorrow and Friday at 8pm. Saturday will have a children’s matinee at 2pm and a show at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £6 for adults, £4 for senior citizens and £3 for children and are available from The Queen’s Head, Long Marston or Mead Farm Shop, Wilstone. For more information, call 07855 369515.
